Australia's Top Business Finance & Solutions Apps in Q4 2020: A Sensor Tower Analysis

As the fiscal year wrapped up, Sensor Tower has gathered and analyzed data on the top Business Finance & Solutions applications in Australia for the fourth quarter of 2020. Our findings provide a snapshot of user engagement and app popularity in the region.

Square Point of Sale (POS) remained consistent with its download numbers, kicking off the quarter with around 5K downloads and peaking at 9K in late November. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, starting at 14K and reaching a high of 20K in the same period.

Hostplus, another key player, saw a significant surge in downloads, from 1K to a remarkable 27K in late November. However, data on weekly active users wasn't available.

Xero Accounting presented a steady revenue stream throughout the quarter, with earnings ranging from 6K to 9K USD weekly. Downloads for the app fluctuated, with a high of 4K in late October. The active user base also saw growth, moving from 10K to a peak of 12K in the same month.

Xero Me showed consistent download numbers, with an early quarter peak of 4K that steadied to around 2K by year-end. Its active users remained robust, starting at 26K and peaking at 32K in early December.

Lastly, Rest Super experienced its highest downloads at 6K in mid-October, which then stabilized to 2K towards the end of the year. Weekly active users saw their peak at 15K in the same period before settling back to around 10K.
